Social And Political Issues In Art

I feel that environmental and laws surrounding trees and plants are bad. Many companies are able to do horrendous things to the environment and it all has a big impact on us. Many people are getting sick and the air pollution is steadily getting worse. Many people are having birth defects because of the environment. There should be a limit and there is all negative consequences.

DSLR And Lens PPT

  1. DLSR stands for “Digital Single Lens Reflex”
  2. and DSLRs are different from consumer “point and shoot” cameras or phones: detachable lenses
  3. prime lens: only one focal length
  4. zoom lenses: variable focal lengths
  5. kit lens: a basic lens that comes with a camera body in a “kit,” usually not too expensive
  6. AF (autofocus) vs. MF (manual focus)
  7. zoom vs. focus – don’t get them confused
  8. how to properly focus a zoom lens
  9. International Organization for Standards – number that describes film’s sensitivity to light
  10. formerly ASA (American Standards Association)
  11. Now used to describe sensitivity of digital sensors in digital cameras
  12. HIGH ISO value means the sensor will be MORE sensitive to light, meaning it will take LESS LIGHT to get the right exposure
  13. more available light = lower ISO
  14. less available light = higher ISOBUT use the lowest ISO you can to avoid grain/noise
  15. shutter speed: how long the shutter is open
  16. on the Canon T6i ranges from
    30” (seconds) to 1/4000 of a second
  17. choose shutter speed based on situation:
  18. higher speed to capture fast action
  19.  but what is the tradeoff?
  20. shutter speed: how long the shutter is open
  21. on the Canon T6i ranges from 30” (seconds) to 1/4000 of a second
  22. The 180-degree Shutter Speed rule: The shutter in a camera is half a circle (180 degrees)

  23. Camera shake: occurs with a shutter speed slower than 1/ [focal length] of a second

  24. also known as the f-stop

  25. “fast” lens has bigger maximum aperture

Read And Write (Sept. 6)

I’d like to become a professional photographer because there are so many work options in the field. It’s a more well-known item now, so it’s simpler to get into with more possibilities. There are also additional chances because more individuals hire/search for photographers for a variety of reasons. Being a photographer allows you to govern yourself and operate under your own rules, which appeals to me since I would like to have my own work independence. You get to balance your personal and professional lives. You have both work and leisure time. It might help to refresh the mind and be relaxing. Photography is not necessarily a demanding endeavor. Its a good way to help people out with creating beautiful photographs, and its a lot of fun as well.

Read and Write Review

1. What is aperture, shutter speed and ISO?

The aperture is an adjustable hole in your lens that can create a shallow or good depth of field. Shutter speed is the time it takes to take a picture. ISO is the sensitivity of your camera to an amount of given light.

2. When would you need to change your ISO?

When shooting in low light.

3. What are aperture and shutter priority settings?

Av Mode lets you choose your aperture and chooses your shutter speed, Shutter Priority is vice versa.

4. What are AF modes how do you change them?

Set the camera to AF modes, most cameras have a setting to change it.

5. Why do your need to meter the light to get the right exposure?

You need to do this so your image isn’t underexposed or overexposed.

6. What is white balance and why would you need to change it?

White balance is used to adjust colors to match the color of the light source so that white objects appear white. You would need to change it because every photograph you take will look different and the white balance wont look the same.

7. What is depth of field and what is the difference between shallow and good?

It is field is the area of acceptable sharpness in front of and behind the subject.

8. What are drive modes and metering modes?

The frame, the measure of the subject brightness and how the camera sets exposure.

9. What is exposure compensation?

Allows the photographer to override exposure settings.
